THE DISTRICT CUP

 

  RULES

NAME 1.  The Competition shall be called "The Leeds & District Football Association District Cup Competition". 
 
CONTROL 2. The Council of the Leeds & District Football Association, though it’s Cup Committee, shall have the entire control and management of the Competition. Any question relating to the interpretation of the rules of this Competition shall be referred to the Committee. The Cup Committee shall have power to appoint a Sub-committee to consider and deal with any matter concerning this Competition. 
 
CLUB TO COMPETE 3. The Cup shall be competed for annually by all Clubs fully affiliated to the Leeds & District F.A. unless exempted and not taking part in the Senior Challenge Cup of the Association. The reserve side of a Club taking part in the Senior Cup Competition of this Association shall enter this Competition. Applications for exemption from the Competition shall be made in writing to  Competition Secretary not later than 1st August and shall state the grounds on which application is made. The Committee shall have power to refuse the entry of any Club into this Competition. Clubs who have 3rd and 4th teams etc may enter them into this Competition. 
 
ENTRANCE FEE 4.   Each competing team shall pay an entrance fee of £20.00 to the Treasurer of the Association not later than the 15th October or will be subject to a fine of £10.00. 
 
OTHER RULES 5. Rules 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 of the Senior Challenge Cup Competition shall apply to this Competition.
 
  NOTE. For the purpose of interpretation of the first sentence of Rule No. 5, the Senior Challenge Cup Competition and the Leeds & District F.A. District Cup Competition shall be deemed one Competition.
